Unlike previous editions, I decided to begin my Frieze itinerary with Frieze Masters instead this time. It’s always been my preferred fair for its mix of objects spanning the course of human existence.
As expected, the trend for collaborative stands between gallerists is here to stay. Including the Spotlight section, 11 booths use this approach, making up almost 9% of the total number of stands. It’s practical and offers endless variety with every edition, theoretically.

For 2025, a new Reflections section has been added to showcase decorative art and objects. The debut edition contains six presentations inspired by the collections of objects in Sir John Soane’s Museum, London, and Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge.
Meanwhile, the Studio section, now in its third iteration, continues to champion the work of living artists by presenting old and new work, and ephemera from the places where they make their art.
