The sun came out for Tuesday’s preview of LAPADA, one of the loveliest fairs for arts, antiques, and luxury accessories. Accommodating a bit of everything for every taste, it’s always been a pleasant one to walk through due to its compact size.

Here are my highlights this year:
Pulcino glassware at Morgan Strickland (stand C10)

Arthur Jones of Dublin, The 1851 Great Exhibition Carved Bog Yew Armchair, 1850 (Butchoff, stand B41)

Sir Muirhead Bone, Midnight in Venice, coloured chalks (Duncan R. Miller Fine Arts, stand B29)

Peter László Péri at Cal Smith Gallery (stand B49)

Paul Signac, Concarneau (Haynes Fine Art, stand B14)

Montague Dawson, The Surrender, c.1960, oil on canvas (Macconnal-Mason, stand B63)

Pair of carved figures, c.1600 (Peter Bunting, stand A3)

John Armstrong, Still Life with Onions, 1957, oil on board (Freya Mitton, stand A26)

Tealight holders(?) by Martin & Co., 1874 (J.H. Bourdon-Smith Ltd, stand A10)
